Lakeba Hibbler Williams, PhD, LPC

Dr. Lakeba is the Owner and Director of Fresh Hope Counseling Center, LLC (FHCC), a multidisciplinary behavioral health care practice established in 2012 where she helps individuals and organizations become more adaptable. Her training and credentials include Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a BS in Social Work (1995) from Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA; a MEd in Community Agency Counseling (2004), and a PhD in Adult Education (2013) both from Auburn University in Auburn, AL. She has experience working with adults suffering from the devastating effects of race-related traumatic stress, trauma and abuse, depression, anxiety, anger management issues, relationship issues and grief/loss. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Lakeba is committed to strengthening the emotional, mental, and spiritual health of her clients.

Lauren D. Williams, MA, LPC

Lauren is a psychotherapist at Fresh Hope Counseling Center, LLC (FHCC). Her training and credential includes Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); with a BA in Psychology from Auburn University and a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Clark Atlanta University. Lauren has experience working with adults, children, and adolescents.Lauren specializes in helping individuals navigate numerous issues such as: life transitions, trauma and abuse, depression, anxiety, anger management issues, relationship issues, co-parenting issues and grief/loss. With 6 years of experience, Lauren is committed to partnering with her clients to strengthen their emotional, mental, and spiritual health. She uses mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma focused techniques to work with her clients. Lauren believes that everyone deserves to be the best version of themselves and she is committed to working with her clients to help them to get there.
